Its official...... Summer is here at last. Ive just picked my 1st basket of mixed veggies. 3 ripe tomatos(cherokee purple i think), green and purple beans, cucumbers, onions , yellow squash, zuccini(cant spell) and the first apple of the season. It was perfect and delicious. Oh and i forgot the radishes. Im having friends over for supper tonight and will serve the beans with butter and cinnamon basil. yum. The radishes i will serve as an appetizer, raw, with butter and sea salt for dipping. I made a batch of pesto the other day, and will serve it over pasta with grilled chicken. Ill take pix of the beans later. enjoy your day.
